1. Despite the amber rainstorm warning, followed later by a red one, six trampers (three males, three females) turned up at Quarry Bay in an attempt to accomplish a something that was going to leave a mark in the history of Trampers.
2. Eight people had responded to Francis’ walk proposal and registered their interest in the night walk. However, only three of them showed up. Two new members called the hotline just one hour before the hike to ask if they could join. This made up a total of six Trampers who were ready to fight the winds and rain of the night to walk from Quarry Bay via Tam Tam and Shek O to near Chai Wan.

Another hilarious walk report by leader Justin Holland on the Yuen Tsuen ancient trail hike. Source of the report is here.

Twenty-seven Trampers reported for duty at Tsuen Wan MTR station. It may have been the weather, or some strange alignment of planets, but the walk leader made a rare exception to policy and extended the 10 minute waiting rule by a couple of minutes…

Future note for anyone else who wants to arrange a walk; Tsuen Wan has two Hang Seng banks. Luckily, Caroline took charge of one group while Justin picked up the other. The groups met up and headed straight out of Tsuen Wan MTR towards the hills.

Well, today, mother nature unleashed strong winds in Hong Kong. We were also blessed with intermittent rain. So, what did I do? I took my camera to work to take pictures of HK in a different light!
